How do I add funds?
Open Banking → Deposit, choose bank transfer or crypto, and enter an amount. A pending deposit is created and the payment details are emailed to you. The balance updates once the deposit is approved.
Why is my deposit still pending?
Deposits are credited only after review. Until then the request sits as pending and your available balance is unchanged.
Where did my withdrawal balance go?
Requesting a withdrawal holds the amount from your available balance straight away, so it cannot be spent twice while under review. If the request is declined, the hold is refunded in full.
How do I buy a stock?
Open Markets, pick a symbol, then place an order for the number of shares you want. A market order fills at the latest quote while the market is open; a limit or stop order rests until its price is reached.
Which order types can I use?
Market, limit, stop and stop-limit, each as a day order or good-til-cancelled. Anything not filled straight away sits under Orders → Working, where you can cancel it at any time.
Why was my order not filled?
Orders only fill while the market is open, and a limit or stop order fills only once the quote reaches your price. Day orders that never trigger expire at the close; good-til-cancelled orders keep working until you cancel them.
Why is some of my cash unavailable?
Two things reserve cash: a working buy order holds its estimated cost until it fills or is cancelled, and proceeds from a sale stay unsettled until the next trading day. Buying power tells you what you can trade with right now.
